Travis Kelce can’t wait to get out on the turf with Marquise ‘Hollywood’ Brown.
The Chiefs have a new wide receiver after landing Brown on a one-year deal worth $7million that could potentially reach $11m with added incentives.

The former Cardinals and Ravens wideout is an immediate upgrade for the reigning Super Bowl champions who are bidding for a three-peat next season.
Kelce reacted to the signing on the latest episode of his ‘New Heights’ podcast with brother Jason and shared his initial three-word reaction to the news.
“Got my dog,” the tight end stated.
“I’m f***ing pumped about this one, man,” Kelce went on.
“The guy can absolutely fly.
“Talked to my guys, my Oklahoma Sooners, on what type of guy he is and everybody just raves about the person he is in the building. I saw him on Twitch streaming the day he signed or the day he confirmed it, and he was having a good old time. I think it’s going to be a great addition to the locker room, as well as on the field.
“I’m pumped to get in the building and get to work, baby.”
The Kelce’s also brought up Chiefs head coach Andy’s Reid recruitment text to Brown.

When news of the deal broke, ‘Hollywood’ shared a screenshot of a text exchange he had with ‘Big Red’.
“Hollywood, think Red today, KC Red with diamonds!!!,” Reid wrote in the message, which also included a winking face emoji with a signature.
In response, Brown wrote, “Yes sir. Love the sound of that” and included a heart and ring emoji – in reference to the Chiefs chasing a third straight Super Bowl ring.
On the line below, the WR mirrored Reid’s message, writing: “Think Hollywood Brown Lights, Camera, Action,” with two rocket ship emojis.

Travis said of that exchange, “If there’s one guy that knows a little bit about Hollywood it’s Andy Reid, baby.”
Brown was a first-round pick by Ravens in the 2019 NFL Draft and spent the first three seasons of his career with the team.
During his final season in Baltimore in 2021, the speedy receiver had 91 catches for 1,008 yards and six touchdowns.
The 26-year-old was sent to the Cardinals in 2022 where he had mixed fortunes. During 26 games with the Cards, Brown had 118 catches for 1,283 yards and seven TDs.
Kelce also spoke about the Chiefs’ other moves in free agency and the current status of star cornerback L’Jarius Sneed.
The Chiefs placed the non-exclusive franchise tag on the CB but he has still been heavily linked with a trade.
However, as of right now Sneed is still very much a Chief, and Kelce seems pretty happy about that fact.
“And as of today at 6 a.m., we still got L’Jarius Sneed, baby,” he said.
“Still there. LJ, man, just stay right there. Just keep cruising. Still early in the offseason, baby, just stay right there.”
Speaking about KC’s other roster moves, he added: “I believe we also resigned some guys, we got my guy Tershawn Wharton back in the building, baby, Turk!”
“Derrick Nadi, I think we might have gotten Nadi back in the building….”
The Chiefs are certainly looking locked and loaded ahead of a run at a historic three-peat in 2024.
