Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson was visibly moved during an emotional pregame moment.
Standing on the sideline prior to a home AFC Divisional Round playoff game against the Houston Texans, Jackson was seen being overwhelmed as the United States’ national anthem played and planes flew over M&T Bank Stadium.

Baltimore took a 3-0 lead against the Texans on Saturday, then led 10-3 before Houston ran back a 67-yard punt for a touchdown to tie the game late in the first half.
Jackson stood on the sideline during pregame ceremonies wearing an oversized coat and staring down at the ground.
As fans cheered and fireworks were fired, Jackson hugged a Ravens staffer and then remained connected with the employee for an extended period.
The Baltimore QB appeared to receive a pregame pep talk and become even more emotional during the private conversation.
The three-time Pro Bowler and two-time All-Pro was named the NFL MVP in 2019 and is the MVP favorite this season.
Jackson completed 67.2 percent of his passes in 2023 for 3,678 yards, 24 touchdowns and seven interceptions.
He’s thrown for 125 TDs and only 45 picks during his six-year career.
Baltimore entered the playoffs as the Super Bowl favorite in the AFC and received a first-round bye.

But the Ravens struggled in the first half, with Jackson starting 7-of-11 for 52 yards while being sacked three times, while C.J. Stroud completed 11-of-20 passes for 131 yards.
