Sunday night brings us the pinnacle of American Sport with the NFL Super Bowl, where the Kansas City Chiefs will battle the San Francisco 49ers for NFL supremacy.

While we have been blessed with some exciting Super Bowl games in recent years, on occasion we can see one team completely blow out the other in a dominating fashion. The last time this happened was the Bucs shutting down the opposition Chiefs in a 31-9 beat down.
If the 49ers exceptional defence can upset the rhythm of the Chiefs there could be a good chance that the 49ers can control the game into a dominating win. Alternatively, if the Chiefs can turn the 49ers QB Brock Purdy into a pumpkin and force them to play from behind there is every chance the Chiefs can run away with a victory.

Patrick Mahomes has had such an incredible start to his NFL career, and is already in the conversation for the greatest of all time. In the two Super Bowl wins in his tenure as leader of the Chiefs he was awarded the MVP on both occasions, therefore it would be a fair assumption that if the Chiefs win and Mahomes is able to perform well against the daunting 49ers defence he will win the MVP again.
