Despite defeat against Luke Humphries following an incredible run at Alexandra Palace, has still shone behind the oche in 2024.

The 17-year-old won his first senior PDC title in January by beating Michael van Gerwen in the Bahrain Darts Masters.

Littler also claimed his first European triumph at the Belgian Open last week but won’t be able to repeat such a victory in Denmark.

The PDC announced their line-up for the Nordic Darts Masters in Copenhagen, which happens on June 7 and 8, but the teenage sensation won’t be there.

“Bahrain Darts Masters champion Luke Littler will not compete in the Danish capital this year due to family commitments,” they said.

Van Gerwen, along with fellow former winners Dimitri Van den Bergh and Peter Wright, will all star at the tournament.

Humphries, Michael Smith, Gerwyn Price, Nathan Aspinall and Rob Cross also feature and will be joined by another eight players.

Until then, Littler will continue to play against the very best in this season’s Premier League of Darts.

Following his semi-final loss against Aspinall in Brighton on night seven, he will make his return in Dublin on Thursday night.

Littler will face Smith in the Irish capital, with the winner then set to clash against Van Gerwen or Price in the last four.

Darts GOAT Phil Taylor reveals he would be open to an exhibition match against Luke Littler but only he could go first

He is yet to win any of the nights so far, although reached the final on night two in Berlin where he narrowly lost 6-5 to Van Gerwen.

However, with Littler still so young and new to senior darts, the victories will surely start to arrive in the coming months.
