Bronny James smashed his face on a sign as he left the court following chants from Arizona State fans branding him ‘overrated’.
James, son of NBA legend LeBron, is a guard for his college team USC Trojans, who took on Arizona State Sun Devils on Saturday.

Along with DJ Rodman, son of Hall of Famer Dennis Rodman, James started at the ASU Well Fargo Arena.
However, he managed the least minutes after coming off on 25.
The Trojans went on to lose to Arizona State 82-67 – USC’s 11th defeat of the season.
As well as being taunted by the home fans, there was an embarrassing and painful moment for the 19-year-old as he made his way off the court.
With a chorus of boos ringing out, Bronny jumped up to touch the sign as he made his way down the tunnel.
But he jumped a little too high as he thumped his head on a sign in a moment that must have hurt outside and in.
Earlier in the match, James was met with chants of ‘overrated’ from the Arizona State fans in the stands.
The chants came after James missed a layoff while his finishing has been criticised in the past.

The teenager has had a tough six months after collapsing at the Galen Center during a USC practice session in July 2023.
It was later revealed that he had suffered a cardiac arrest as a result of a congenital heart defect and was hospitalised for four days.
Despite his heart problems, James went on to make his collegiate debut for the Trojans on December 10.
His father, LeBron, has spoken out in the past about his dream to play with his son one day.
“Wherever Bronny is, I’ll be there. I would do anything to play with my son for a year. It’s not about the money at that point,” he said last year.
Bronny has some shoes to fill with his father the all-time leading scorer in NBA history, as well as ranking fourth in career assists.
King James has alos won four MVP Awards, four Finals MVP Awards and three All-Star Games MVP Awards, being named an All-Star 19 times.
