Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love is quickly turning into one of the most popular players in the NFL for both his play on the field and his character off of it. On Friday, a Packers fan posted a picture of her niece alongside the young signal-caller and said he had stopped to help her out of the snow.

After a few days passed and a playoff win, Love was asked about the viral moment but shared that he wasn’t able to help the young fan out of her predicament despite his best efforts.

“I was leaving, I was in the parking lot, I saw her trying to back out—tire just spinning,” he told reporters Wednesday. “I just asked if she wanted me to help try to push real quick and see if we could get it moved. I tried, it was unsuccessful, but she said somebody was coming with the shovel to help.”

As a reporter in attendance quipped, it was the only thing that wasn’t successful for him that week.

Just two days later, Green Bay took on the Dallas Cowboys as No. 7 seeded underdogs and shocked the NFL world at AT&T Stadium, dominating the opposition 48–32. Love threw for 272 yards and three touchdowns in the process and punched his team’s ticket to the divisional round.

Love will lead his squad against the San Francisco 49ers on Saturday at 8:15 p.m. ET on Fox.
