Deion Sanders has landed a player with superstar pedigree for next season’s College campaign.
The lure of playing under ‘Prime Time’ has helped Colorado attract a number of high-calibre prospects to the Buffaloes program.

Gage Goldberg, the son of WWE Hall of Famer Bill Goldberg, announced on Sunday that he has committed to play for Sanders and the Buffaloes.
Before making his name as one of the most devastating performers in professional wrestling, Goldberg was a standout defensive tackle for the Georgia Bulldogs.
He was selected in the 11th round of the 1990 NFL Draft by the Los Angeles Rams before a two-year stint at the Atlanta Falcons where he developed a friendship with Sanders.
Gage was offered to Alabama as a preferred walk-on but opted for Colorado after veteran Tide head coach Nick Saban’s shock retirement.

“My dad’s advice was go to the program that stands out to you the most and the one you know that you will love,” Gage told Jeff Hauser of BuffsBeat.
“I already know at this moment that I will love Colorado and it will also be great to be learning from one of my dad’s best friends ever.”
A 6-foot, 205-pound middle linebacker from Boerne Champion High School in Texas, Gage Goldberg is the seventh addition to Colorado’s 2024 recruiting class, which also includes 5-star offensive lineman Jordan Seaton.
“The main draw was that Colorado has an amazing coaching staff and obviously a great head coach that will help me excel in every way to become a better football player, and eventually to get me to the next level,” he said.

Sanders enjoyed a dream start to his coaching career in the early stages of last season and he was named Sports Illustrated’s ‘Sportsperson of the Year’ before ending with 4-8 record.
The 56-year-old has been mentioned as a possible replacement for Dallas head coach Mike McCarthy in the wake of the Cowboys’ humiliating playoff defeat to Green Bay.
ESPN analyst and former Ravens quarterback Robert Griffin III made the case for Sanders to be handed his first NFL coaching job.
“A lot of people are saying you should go get Bill Belichick as your next coach, because we all know that Mike McCarthy’s stuff was packed before this game was already over. His office, empty. He gone,” he said.
“But I know who you need. You need Coach Prime. That’s right, Deion Sanders, Coach Prime.”
Sanders played for the Cowboys for four seasons and was a member of their last team to win a Super Bowl after the 1995 season.
