Priscila Cachoeira was a bloody mess after her fight at UFC 297.

The Brazilian was hoping to upset the Canadian crowd by beating hometown favourite Jasmine Jasudavicius at Toronto’s Scotiabank Arena on Saturday night.

However, she ended up on the wrong end of a truly one-sided fight.

Jasudavicius used her superior grappling skills to dominate the bout on the floor and land a staggering 326 strikes in just over 14 minutes.

Cachoeira managed to connect just 26 times during the fight.

All three cageside judges scored the first round 10-8 in favour of Jasudavicius, and two of the officials thought the second stanza was just as dominant.

The dissenting judge gave Jasudavicius a rare 10-7 in round two.

In the end, their scorecards didn’t matter as Cachoeira tapped out with 39 seconds left on the clock when her opponent cinched up an anaconda choke.

After the 34-year-old released her grip, Cachoeira temporarily lay motionless on the mat where she was surrounded by blood and looking like the victim of a violent crime.

During her post-fight interview with UFC legend Daniel Cormier, Jasudavicius explained the merciless beating she unleashed was punishment for her opponent’s weight miss.

The pair were originally scheduled to fight at flyweight, but their scrap was bumped up to the bantamweight division when Cachoeira had issues making 125lbs.

“I really wanted to torture her,” Jasudavicius said.

“It makes me really frustrated. Like, be a professional, we are in a premier organisation. Get your s*** together!”

Jasudavicius was happy she got the chance she show off her wrestling.

She added: “I got to show a lot more of my grappling.”

“I love grappling and I want to show how mean I am. She’s good, but I wanted to represent for all the other fighters in Canada.”
