Tom Aspinall and Sergei Pavlocich shared an intense staredown before their clash at Madison Square Garden on Saturday night.
The British fan favourite and streaking Russian contender have kept things friendly in the build-up to their fight at UFC 295 this weekend.
Aspinall got drafted in on short notice to face Pavlovich for an interim heavyweight title when Jon Jones got injured and derailed his UFC 295 fight with fellow legend Stipe Miocic.
The 30-year-old stole the show at Thursday’s pre-fight press conference as he gave himself a new nickname, joked about the size of his body parts, and debuted a new ‘sexy’ shirt.
On Friday morning, Aspinall hit the scales at a career-high weight of 261.6lbs – he weighed 285lbs for his fight against Marcin Tybura in July.
Pavlovich came in slightly lighter at 259.8 for what’s being billed as a pick ‘em fight between two of the most exciting heavyweight contenders in the sport.

A few hours later, the two men headed to the iconic arena where they’ll fight.
Fans from New York and around the world gathered to watch everyone competing on the UFC’s 30th-anniversary card at the ceremonial weigh-ins.
Many more will cram into the iconic venue for UFC 295 in just 24 hours’ time.
Hopefully, they’ll witness a third British fighter being crowned a champion in MMA’s premier promotion and add to the successes of Michael Bisping and Leon Edwards.
